Hedzer Durksz

will hold a speech entitled:

Motion mechanism

A motion mechanism is designed that creates a motion such that a moving member moves to a fixed member and is pressed against it. Meanwhile during the pressing action the moving member slides along the fixed member for a defined distance. When the defined distance has finished the pressing force is released and the moving member moves away from the fixed member returning back to its original position. After which the process repeats at with a high repetition rate. This thesis a method for to generating this motion for a row of moving members is investigated. And a design for a functional model is proposed that can be used to evaluate the accuracy of the generated motion.
