Summary

In the rapidly evolving environment of public safety, innovation plays a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of police work. The Police Innovation Platform has come up as a strategy for fostering innovation and cooperation within police departments. Currently the innovation initiatives and processes are scattered throughout the country and different police units. The innovation platform was created to centralize innovations and provide a place for collaboration and idea sharing. challenges. However the platform still faces some challenges in realizing, growing and maintaining user engagement and providing functionalities that foster user needs. The platform currently suffers from low interaction, with little awareness of the platforms existence and only a small group of police employees visiting it regularly. This appears to be a result of several challenges and barriers experienced on the platform.

By adopting a user-centered approach, the study seeks to identify and map the needs and preferences of different user groups, understand the call for engagement, and propose strategies to enhance user interaction and satisfaction. Through a comprehensive analysis of user experiences and engagement, this research will provide actionable recommendations to optimize the platform's design and functionality, ultimately contributing to more effective and innovative policing.
