Summary

At the company, a robot is being developed to automate greenhouse tasks. Currently, most tasks are done manually. A challenge discovered while automating other greenhouse tasks is that determining the coordinates of the origin of a branch with a camera system has a large uncertainty.

Test setups for three methods to compensate for this uncertainty have been designed, built, and tested. The systems proved successful in compensating for errors in the vertical direction when the error is smaller than 15mm and successful in the horizontal direction when the error is smaller than 20mm.
